<title>CLIMB ON BOARD!  TRAIL LINKS CAMPAIGN</title>
<description>TRAIL LINKS Campaign will build upon the success of York's Heritage Rail Trail County Park by linking York County families and communities to two exciting trail extensions. 

TRAIL LINKS Campaign began with a kick-off event in York City on June 21, 2006.

Contributions to the TRAIL LINKS Campaign will provide the funding necessary to develop a 5.5-mile Northern Extension of the Heritage Rail Trail and 11.5 miles of the Hanover Trolley Trail.

All contributions, from children placing $1 in an envelope to corporate multi-year pledges, are vital to the success of the TRAIL LINKS Campaign. Each contribution will directly support the development of these extensions to the Heritage Rail Trail County Park...

<title>GROUNDBREAKING FOR NORTHERN EXTENSION TRAIL
</title>
<description>Plan to join us on Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 1 PM at John Rudy County Park for the groundbreaking ceremony for Phase 1 of the Northern Extension of the Heritage Rail Trail.  The Northern Extension is a project to extend the Heritage Rail Trail County Park northward along the Codorus Creek from the City of York to John Rudy County Park. Phase 1 extends from John Rudy County Park to Crist Memorial Fields. 

The event is free and open to the public. 

Additional information will be posted as the date approaches.

<description>The following meetings of the York County Rail Trail Authority will be held at 7 PM at the offices of the Authority located at 45 Cherry Street, Seven Valleys, PA (directly behind the Seven Valleys post office.  October 16, 2006 

November 20, 2006 

December 18, 2006 

All meetings are open to the public and begin with an opportunity for the public to speak to the the directors of the Authority about their concerns and interests in the projects of the Authority.

<title>TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE!</title>
<description>The York County Rail Trail Authority offers free technical assistance to York County municipalities seeking to develop community-based trails. 

Assistance may include indentifying community destinations as links for a proposed trail, assistancing with landowner negotiations, assessing citizens needs, identifying funding sources, or other areas as determined by the project goals.
